From brand search to a shortlist you can still defend at QC

Step 1 — Open the brand channel, not a vibe dump

On this site, brand keywords open the live MaisonLooks brand channel (for example Nike). That is the discovery layer: current cards, not a stale Google Sheet mirror. For process pages that teach brand QC (common fails, shortlist habits), start on /brands/ — for example /brands/nike/. If you pasted a Weidian/Taobao/1688 link instead, search keeps the spreadsheet `q` path — links and brands are different jobs.

Step 2 — Leave the brand browse for one category

Once the item type is clear — shoes, pants, tees — stop scrolling mixed brand results. Category pages and category topics exist so size notes and QC angles stay comparable. A Nike tee and a Nike shoe should not share the same shortlist logic.

Step 3 — Write the save reason before you order

Every kept row needs one sentence you can still defend beside the warehouse album: better price, clearer print, measured waist, pair symmetry. If the reason is “looks fine,” it is research, not a haul candidate.

• Cap the active shortlist (often 5–8) before you submit orders
• Plan QC angles that match the save reason
• Estimate shipping weight before the last heavy add-on

Step 4 — QC gate, then quote — not the reverse

Approve or reject while items are still in the warehouse. Shipping quotes after a bloated haul create sunk-cost pressure. Use the QC photos guide and shipping cost guide as the decision pair; buyer shares are anecdotes with sources, not your invoice.
